Yvette is a Dutch artist who transforms personal memories, dreams, and inner reflections into vivid, layered works of art.

 

She dives into the inward journey and brings to light the beautiful and sometimes challenging paradoxes of life, sparking curiosity and conversation. Her paintings encourage viewers to reconnect with their true nature, embrace joy, and rediscover a sense of playfulness in daily life.

Yvette takes an active, hands-on approach to her craft. She hand-prepares every canvas with natural gesso and formulates her own paints from pure pigments combined with oil or a plant-based acrylic medium. Honoring both sustainability and the integrity of the creative process.

 

Born in Berkel en Rodenrijs in 1988, Yvette has lived in Rotterdam, London, and New York, and is now based in Amsterdam. Her international path energizes her art with a global perspective and a bold, exploratory spirit.
